Texas Communications is routinely involved in system planning from the conception stage. In many cases this requires certain evaluations of the possible sites being considered for your project. This can be possible tower sites or simply where to locate equipment in a campus environment.
Our experience allows us to create diagrams showing required space needed, if it is available, and are the proper utilities there to support the proposed equipment. When we are selling a system this process is usually included in the proposal to sale the turn – key system.
If you are buying a system from a vendor that does not offer this service and would like to contract us we are available at a consultant level. We often are asked for these services to be able to supply proper information to possible bidders.
Propagation models and path studies are available as well. This service allows a potential buyer to evaluate the general performance of the system before it is purchased. This data is also used to help engineer in certain specifications for a bid. This allows the customer to level the field of the possible bidders as they will all be working off of general design specifications for the system being considered. The path studies accomplish the same thing for those systems that are purely point to point line of site based systems. These services provide printed maps or path profiles along with the relevant data showing key operating specifications.
If you need assistance planning the system concept and logistical site structure allow us to help you get over that first hurdle so you can get on with the purchase and implimentation.
